Fun with Tone

I was in Life Drawing class with a few of my friends. Since we're doing self-portraits and the like, we have to study a lot of the facial features. Not to mention my friend started talking about our summer sketchbook assignment in which we had to tone the goddamn paper all the time.

So I toned some paper, began to draw a more stylized Searil and then thought, "Hey, it'd be cool if I did her kind of realistically." So then I did.

Ironically, this is the only image that my group of friends and I can agree on looking the right age for her (note--she's around 18. I tend to draw her looking too old, and everyone else thinks she should look like... closer to 15).

Note--It's kind of sad that on the same page with this image is a walking phallus and a very phallic-shaped sword. The amount of phalluses in my sketchbook has increased by about infinity percent since coming to college. ;_;
